I wanna do 50 barrows chests. I know you have to blitz/sally, but what's the suggested invy/armour?

50 barrows chest in a single inventory? You'd have to use Brews/Restores unless you go crazy with Guthans.

my friends done 100 chests, basically you want blitz/barrage runes, a sgs/excaliber, guthans, a black sally, and A LOT of tar. For your invent you want lots of super rests to restore your melee stats after Ahrim's drains them and a few brews for emergencies. i believe he guthans'd karils to death every time, and dclawed Ahrim's to prevent a lot of stat drain. Then for the rest yeah, farcast with sally.

Brews/restores is not that great.

Sure it doesn't heal very much and it's very cost-efficient. But outside of healing weapons, it's the most healing you can pack into just 1 inventory space.

You could also blood blitz either the tunnel monsters or the melee brothers to pick up on some lost health. You don't miss out on any inventory space since the runes are the same as you would bring for ice blitz/barrage, and they're replenished at a reasonable rate from looting the chest.

Using my method I think I could get 32 chests without SGS although this is slightly altered, I bring pure sets usually and do 12 chests per trip but if I took out those out I could manage 32. I use 2 prayer doses per chest (one for ahrim, one for karil), using the barrage + sally method. I do not ever use any food, Guthan's is sufficient healing. It is much faster and wiser to bring pure sets though at 12 chests per trip I do 10 chests per hour. Having boosted stats for karil and killcount/guthan healing is priceless. I get 9 kill count for deaths, bloods, bolt racks, only drops I can't get are half keys and D meds.

 

I wear Sally, Infinity Boots, Fire Cape, Guthan Helm, Ahrim's Top, Guthan Skirt, Barrows Gloves, Fury, Seers ring, Harr tar.
