Within The Light

Featured Replies

I haven't been able to find the answer to this anywhere and me and my friend can't seem to figure it out.

Yesterday my friend began Within The Light and made it right to the end. He managed to reach the Crystal Ballista and successfully shot the target, but on his way back through the maze he died by taking too much damage from the spikes. He lost every item he gained during the quest.

He took the time to get a full set of mourner gear back, grabbed his own Death Talisman, got the keys back and restocked on food and whatever else and headed back to the Temple Of Light but wasn't able to reenter it - "A strange force blocks your path". Does anyone know how to get back in using that entrance?

It's possible to head through the Abyss and get back inside by travelling to the Death Altar and then using the portal. However, the point of the quest my friend has died at required to him have rotated the mirror to allow him to get out to the floor above. This means that he's stuck in the room with Arianwyn and the Mysterious Ruins because the light door isn't open. So he has to get back in to the Temple by using the original entrance.

Anyone have any ideas?

I got the answer.

The Crystal Trinket wasn't in his inventory when trying to reenter. :wall: I was sure we'd tried that!
