Rogue's Den

I wouldn't mind the set of the clothes you get, but I was wondering how to do the Rogue's Den.

I have 60 agility and 58 thieving.

Usually I make it a decent ways, but I always run out of thieving, or get unlucky as hell. Mostly unlucky.

Is there some kind of definitive guide? I've used the one of the site.

Really the best thing you can do is get your levels up.

At about 70 agility and theif you should be able to make it to the end more often than not.

I didn't realize it was level oriented so much.

I just figured there was a certain route as I always ended up running into the floor spikes most of the time.

Tip.It Guide to Rouges Den- Here

Yea, I already used it. Didn't help as much as I thought.

Thanks.

Well I suppose I should give more info. Using the guide, Map out where each obstacle is, how much levels it deducts and also your maximum amount of usage is (aka your level). from that, just draw a path on MS Paint and you should be fine (While remembering traps of course)

I see Dark. Will do that in the future.

But, while you guys are here, I've got one more quesiton:

Did the requirements for this used to be 45 Agility and Thieving? I remember coming back from a hefty break and seeing the requirements as 50 and was stunned as to why they would raise it.

Anyhow, thanks for the help guys.

You can cheat on traps. If you stand one space in front of the trap and then run past it, you can get by one trap at a time without having to disarm it. If you make good use of this trick, you can get through the whole maze easily without draining your thieving by more than about 2 points.

Pretty sure it's always been 50. A higher agility is recommended though, so that you can run through the maze without stopping to walk. (If it's not high enough, the Oo'glog sal[bleep]er spring is nice.)

always 50, and what tro' means, Is that if there's a diagonal path like this:

Red = Trap

Blue = Safe

Green = Walking

You can walk diagonally from a square-pixel without triggering the nearby traps.

You can also run straight across one trap in a straight line as long as you stop directly in front of it first.
