There are better options yes, as you can only claim rewards once a day. And finding the stars takes some time too. It's a great distraction with nice rewards though! Powermining iron is always a good option (or granite if your a member). Or coal and mith in the guild if you want money as well.

Grind to 77 doing granite and then do concetraded coal to 80 and concentraded gold to 99
