Ok I started working in some of the background on it finally.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Line Work is partially been tidyed up round the warrio, but i got more to do and the main bg to add

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But I want some c/c on its current state

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ok it's appearence change dramatically after a small amount of background work so heres the update:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

'castle corner' finished off. Ice blokc made more see thru, front wall and grassy hill added. Stumped for rest of terrain atm so gueestions welcomed:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rest of terrian base colour filled in, shadowing around grassy hill edge and sky edge added. Stars tweaked, moon highlights added to front wall, terrian texturing added around fire tree, ice blokc colour changed

 

 

 

i like the ice guy :D

just need to pick duel arean or wildy bg

aka the wall corner whihc shows signs of a nice fight between the poor noob ranger and my warrior and added a flaming tree to fill 1 gap plus the nice night sky plus some small white moonlight highlights around the wall

your improving, you could add more variety of shades of colour in night sky eg light greys- whites some blue stars some red and put like a blue pixel and a white together, side by side and your eyes naturally blend the colour and make it blue tinted :wink: a blue dot either side of white to make it more blue all 4 sides of it for more and 9 sides for super blue star :P just try alternating etc

yiou beat me to asking for feedback on the sky, I never dun night sky before and thought mine was missing something, it looks muhc better now (I think) will have to wait til update 3 to see

a hill with only soil no grass the grass looks kind of odd, but you'll get better at it i'm very far into my pixel career havent really improved in much, then a castle on the ground to left near hill would look quite good

Well it looks pretty good, but the characters still need to be improved. They look 2D, like a cardboard cut-out. You might want to work more on your characters before you keep going with your backround, but do whatever you want, its your work.
