I'm one of those high lvls who doenst have firecape as yet. I've been to jad once quite a long time ago only to get K0'ed:D

One of my problems might be that i don't play RS with sound, I heard it makes things a lot easier at JAD....

Problem i have is pots/food ratio to take for my level.

 

I've just received the Volcanic Creatures Slayer Task from the new master in ancient caverns, so thought i'd be as well give it a go again..

Most guides i've seen are a lil out of date, no extreme pots etc....

Hoping to do it without guthans and purple sweets, as i got to JAD before without....

 

My Stats are :-

 

99 Attack

99 Str

99 Def

99 HP

99 Range

99 Mage

87 Prayer

99 Herby - So Would be using extreme pots.

 

Equipment I was thinking to use :-

 

AVA Accululator , Arma Helm, Broad Bolts (would say addy knifes be faster to save prayer ?)

(Should i use dragon bolts for JAD, or combo Ruby(e), then dragon or Diamond (e) ?)

 

Black H-Dide Top / Bottom, Rune Crossbow, Fally Shield for early hits defence and prayer bonus.

 

Barrows Gloves, Dragon Boots, Archer Ring.

 

If anyone with similair stats could advise then please do so...

 

No flaming please, like ZOMG a lvl 136 without firecape.... lol....

I'm mainly a skiller, so when i'm not getting xp, i think fight caves to be a waste of time (if i fail it)... :D

If you have it use void the bonus soon adds up and will speed up the first rounds massively.

Don't take dragon boots as they won't help you at all, snakeskin or ranger boots are much better.

Using super prayer, a few extreme range and a few super restore and sara brews (incase you screw up on the higher waves) you shouldn't have any trouble until Jad. Maybe even an overload for Jad.

i found it easier with no sound. keep mage pray on when fighting and switch to range when he crouches then straight back to mage once he has attacked.
