When I play Warcraft 3, I lag badly. It just started a few days ago and I have no idea why.

When I get pinged I normally have around 22-40 ms but as soon as the game starts it jumps to like 300 ms. It is just weird. It only started happening a few days ago and I have no idea why.

 

No programs are running in the background, no other thing are using the internet, and its just starting to piss me off.

 

Anybody have any reasons for this? Because at the moment, I'm clueless.

And would opening up the ports on the router that WC3 uses help this at all?

 

OS is Vista 64 bit.
