I recently got a netbook, an ideapad s10e, it has a decent battery life with its 3-cell battery, but i would like more. I went to the lenovo site and found a compatible battery then i did a google search and found apparently the same battery for about half the price.

 

My question is, would i be getting scammed if i got this cheaper battery or would i be in the clear getting it?

Its possible its a scam, but then again it could be legit. I would google the name of the site and see if it is reputable. More often than not peripherals are more expensive from the manufacturer than they are from a third party...
