My phone doesn't charge?

Featured Replies

I use a Sony Ericsson w760i. It's a weird phone, but I have no problems against it (except for sporadic 7 second hangs). Recently however, my phone started acting funny. Now, my charger and pretty much anything that required a hookup with the phone required some tweaking, but it always worked out in the end, albeit being slightly time-consuming.

Since like, 3-4 weeks ago, it became significantly harder to get a connection with the damn thing. In the past, I'd know when it needed a bit of tweaking when it repeatedly shows "charging" then doesn't charge anymore. This time, the phone doesn't even recognize that something is attached to it. I've tried my brother's charger as well. Worked for a while, then back to the usual nonsense. Is something wrong with my phone, my adapter, or is the brand just messed up (my brother and cousin have the same problems with SE phones)? I've cleaned out the insides, cleaned the contacts, nothing.

If you'd like some information, I'll provide it. Somehow.
