Shooting Star Locations Map

Hey,

 

While star hunting with friends recently, the star landed at the Varrock South East Mine. It landed directly south of the fence bordering the mine. Right now, the yellow dot specifies that the star lands directly North of the mine.

 

I will edit this topic and post an image of where the star landed.

I don't think starts land in EXACT spots. They land in a rough area.

 

Like I'm 95% sure I've mined a star at varrock south mine that has been north of the mine, south of the mine and IN the mine or assorted occasions

Also, in response to Paw_Claw, really? I've mined stars in several other locations and they have always been in the same spot for me. I don't ever recall them being in a significantly different spot.

I'm fairly sure they move about a bit.

 

That spot seems to be the most notable movement, others like al-kharid bank land in like 2 or 3 spots right beside each other.

A valid concern, although I think it would be a lot neater and more practical to mention this fact in the guide itself rather than go about labeling all the alternate locations.

The map has not been updated because, as I've said, it would become too messy and we don't have info on every single alternate location. Instead, a note has been added to warn star hunters to look in the general area instead of exactly on the dot to clear any confusion. Credits have been given where they are due.
