To summon or not to summon?

I am level 120 combat, with level 1 summoning. Would it be useful to do summoning? Will I be stronger against those my level, if they have summoning and I don't?

 

With my stats, what can I do for money?

summoning is always useful

 

why would you not train summoning? are you concerned that it will raise your combat lvl in PVP/BH worlds?

because it doesnt

not unless you're carrying summoning pouches/scrolls in your inventory or have a familiar active

Yes, there are NO negatives to training summoning, aside from perhaps the cost.

I have a lot of charms in the bank , how much does it cost to lvl 99? I stopped playing before they released summoning

This can give you an idea of the cost/xp for each type of charm:

 

green charms are more expensive and cost ~ 10 gp/xp

 

red charms are cheaper at 3-5 gp/xp

gold charms can be pretty cheap at ~3 gp/xp

depends on the pouch ur making too
