Casts needed while bursting lobs

This is my gear

 

 

I need about 5mil xp to 99 mage

 

Bursting lobs in the best spot

 

How many casts would I need (counting half of them are saved)

 

And how many charms would i get?

Without sol you would expect 190k per 1k casts so you do those calculations. With sols bonus I would add 15k exp per 1k casts. Hope that helps.

Use smoke barrage once you're at that lvl then ice barrage at that lvl... it's more efficient in the long run. Also wear a ring of life, boots of lightness, prayer-boosting cape, and god stole instead. you won't notice any differences in your killing rates w/ max mage boosts compared to about +75 mage att

I agree with muggi, use barrages when you can. It really does make everything faster and is better in the long run.

 

I believe it is about 180 xp/burst, so if you count that you save half the runes, each "cast" actually grants you double the xp. So each cast is 360 xp, That's about 14k casts, then. This number is far lower for barrage.

Ok, if i swap to barrage and do this on the double xp weekend how many do you think i would need? (You said barrage was way better right?)

Just to be safe incase you lag or something. Not many good choices for prayer or magic in that spot any way, might as well just use the RoL.

Ring makes EXTREMELY little difference. RoL is the best option there ALWAYS.

 

I think barrage is something like 220 xp/cast. Easy to calc from there.
