March 29, 201016 yr Being as the Tortoise costs substantially more then the Bird when is it worth while to use the Tortoise instead of the Bird? Boss hunting is one example of when it is better. I also like to take a Tortoise when I kill dragons, as it gives a few extra spaces to hold bones/hides and such. Another example is at Gorak's when I need to hold lots of Gems. Other than that, the Terrorbird is generally all-around useful.
