The Path Through The Sky [A Journal]

Featured Replies

This is to simply a thread to chronicle my path each day that I play Runescape towards my goals. I'm not the best at thread-making, so without further ado, I present to you some basic information required to understand my nefarious goals.

Goals

Frankly, I have a lot of goals, and I spread my time out between them. The skills I'm most attracted to are the original member skills: Thieving, Agility, Herblore, and Fletching. They were what attracted me to the Members Game, and they're still the most attractive things to me. Very little in the new skills that have arrived since I started playing attracts me. Farming takes too long, Construction is too expensive, Slayer is too combat-oriented, Summoning is confusing. I actually really like Hunter, and it's one of my favorite skills. Anyway, goals, to be achieved in no particular order.

Final Notes

Not much else, really. Just a dude with big dreams, moving on from here, hoping to make some big points.

Well, that's one day down. I've been at the Rogue's Guild for about a day and a half, hitting the safes. Cracking them is a bit of a pain and is pretty slow experience, but the gems earned while doing it are quite valuable, and will help fund my myriad of other goals. So here are a few shots of today and yesterday.

One.

Two.

I got real excited about those emeralds, but it turned out to be a normal haul, like the second one. =sigh= This was a pretty good example of the kind of hauls I was getting, though most after that had an abundance of sapphires. >> Still, any gem is good, so I'm not complaining. For health restoration I've been using whatever random fish I have in my bank.

Three.

This was a cool run, simply because of the pattern that I happened to get the gems in. I kept trying to replicate it after that, but I got nothing even remotely as cool as this.

Four.

This is the end result of the first round, in gems accumulated. As you can see, there's a massive abundance of sapphires compared to the other gems, but all in all it's a pretty sweet deal. I was getting really good loot consistently from those chests. I'm still there now, probably going to start stealing out of them again tomorrow. Got a doctor's appointment today, so I probably won't have a chance to do a whole lot of thievery. =3
