Watch it be something horribly obscure and tenously related to the hint. A werewolf quest, or a shark-related something. -
13 Ranarr + 3 Snapdragon + 1 Torstol = .78 M, even at max GE prices. EDIT - Decimal error.

Hmm... I think I will work on my Combat and Slayer, thanks. Once I've got more decent levels in those, what are good sources of money, might I ask?
-
Interesting... Gems are crashing, though, I dunno how good Rogue's Den is any more. I'm considering the Zammy Wine grab, but I'd like to make a serious profit, not just break even. Thanks, guys! Anyone else?

This is a simple question, but it's been eating me, because I've never been a real in-the-know kind of Runescape player. When people talk about methods of making money that earn them x number of millions per hour I'm simply blown away. So, my question is, from my stats, what can you recommend as the best way to make money for me? I can raise them moderately for the sake of a juicy method, but I'm not going to train twenty levels of a skill to get at a method. Thank you all in advance!

I'm noticing the slayer staffs as well. Were they even part of the HAM loot before the update? I don't remember ever getting one.
-
Mhm. It's not a staggering increase, but a rather good one. I, personally, am finding them at least twice as fast here.

It seems to me, after completing all the quests in Buyers and Cellars, with the increased rate of rare drops from low level pick-pocket targets, Level One Clue Scrolls are becoming extraordinarily common. Anyone else care to contradict or compound my observation, so we know this isn't merely a case of small sample size? If this is as common as it seems to be, to me, then Level One Treasure Trail rewards are going to plummet in price.

Well, I don't know. My personal views are biased. I met a girl online, through a roleplaying forum. We started dating, purely over internet and phone lines. It was seven months before I saw her in person. Three years past that, we're moving in together in an apartment. So I suppose that sometimes online relationships do develop into something more serious. ...In general, though, the people looking for love on RS are mentally messed up or scammers.

The Path Through The Sky [A Journal]
RogueSky replied to RogueSky's topic in BlogScape (Ongoing Progress Reports and Goals)
Well, that's one day down. I've been at the Rogue's Guild for about a day and a half, hitting the safes. Cracking them is a bit of a pain and is pretty slow experience, but the gems earned while doing it are quite valuable, and will help fund my myriad of other goals. So here are a few shots of today and yesterday. One. Two. I got real excited about those emeralds, but it turned out to be a normal haul, like the second one. =sigh= This was a pretty good example of the kind of hauls I was getting, though most after that had an abundance of sapphires. >> Still, any gem is good, so I'm not complaining. For health restoration I've been using whatever random fish I have in my bank. Three. This was a cool run, simply because of the pattern that I happened to get the gems in. I kept trying to replicate it after that, but I got nothing even remotely as cool as this. Four. This is the end result of the first round, in gems accumulated. As you can see, there's a massive abundance of sapphires compared to the other gems, but all in all it's a pretty sweet deal. I was getting really good loot consistently from those chests. I'm still there now, probably going to start stealing out of them again tomorrow. Got a doctor's appointment today, so I probably won't have a chance to do a whole lot of thievery. =3 -
This is to simply a thread to chronicle my path each day that I play Runescape towards my goals. I'm not the best at thread-making, so without further ado, I present to you some basic information required to understand my nefarious goals. Beginning Statistics As of April 5th, 2010. Attack - 65. Strength - 61. Defense - 61. Ranged - 59. Prayer - 46. Magic - 55. Runecrafting - 36. Construction - 40. Constitution - 63. Agility - 70. Herblore - 32. Thieving - 89. Crafting - 48. Fletching - 58. Slayer - 30. Hunter - 54. Mining - 53. Smithing - 43. Fishing - 59. Cooking - 63. Firemaking - 50. Woodcutting - 61. Farming - 27. Summoning - 4. Goals Frankly, I have a lot of goals, and I spread my time out between them. The skills I'm most attracted to are the original member skills: Thieving, Agility, Herblore, and Fletching. They were what attracted me to the Members Game, and they're still the most attractive things to me. Very little in the new skills that have arrived since I started playing attracts me. Farming takes too long, Construction is too expensive, Slayer is too combat-oriented, Summoning is confusing. I actually really like Hunter, and it's one of my favorite skills. Anyway, goals, to be achieved in no particular order. Attack - 70. Strength - 70. Defense - 70. Ranged - 70. Prayer - 50. Magic - 99. Runecrafting - 50. Construction - 50. Constitution - 70. Agility - 99. Herblore - 50. Thieving - 99. Crafting - 49/60. Fletching - 99. Slayer - 50. Hunter - 99. Mining - 60. Smithing - 50. Fishing - 80. Cooking - 70. Firemaking - 99. Woodcutting - 70. Farming - 30. Summoning - 40. Final Notes Not much else, really. Just a dude with big dreams, moving on from here, hoping to make some big points.

Entry One The first entry passes us by, with little fanfare. On this wonderful day, I bumped my Agility up to 70, which is a bit of a milestone. I'm quite happy. ^_^ Agility 70 Also, I've started on my path to 90 Thieving, another lovely milestone. I wanted to do this on Knights as opposed to PP, because something about Knights keeps me more on track than PP... Plus I'm poor so it's more appealing. Haha. I calculated it out, and I need around 6000 steals to hit 90, or about 300k gold stolen. Today I made up to 25050 after my agility fun. ^_^
