This was the Rants sections, so I thought I'd throw this in here - this is for Tip.It's guide list to the Varrock Achievement Diary.

 

Why, in God's green earth, is "Farming lvl 30" not listed in the requirements for the Medium Achievement rewards?

 

I spent all day getting from a measly lvl 8 to 25 for the quest "Garden of Tranquility" so i could get the Ring of Charos(a) to get the achievement "Select Colour of a kitten", and I loathed -every minute- of it.

Farming, as you can guess, is an extremely frustrating skill to me. I bit the bullet trying to get to 25 just for this one achievement, and i FINALLY got it (1 day of anger is quite enough for me).

 

But then, oh man here comes the bad part - I get down to the part where I have to build a balloon and travel -anywhere- with it to get an achievement. Ok, that sounds fine, lemme look up the req.........You've gotta be ****ing kidding me...

LEVEL 30 FARMING REQUIRED!? WHY!? Why do i need to farm to make a balloon?? That doesn't make a LICK of sense! Getting from 25-30 is almost the same amount of exp from 1-25! If I'da known I had to get to lvl 30 in farming, I'da not wasted my time at all with even starting the medium achievements.

 

That said, why, again I ask - WHY - is "Farming lvl 30" NOT listed in the requirements? Is there some form of balloon travel that obtains the achievement without even starting "Enlightened Journey" that I'm unaware of? If not, Please Fix!!

You need 30 farming to complete the quest Enlightened Journey. And if you think that's tough, reading the quest requirements, just wait until you try the harrowing act of boiling water, putting it into a pot, and waiting until the noodles are tender before you eat it. "OMG RAMEN SUX, the noodels r hard as rok n da soup iz hot, burnd mouf. It sez 'instent' wut a scam"

 

Also: This Tip.It/Jagex deal is getting confusing. When did I log into the RSOF?

Heh, gotta tell ya, that made me laugh. And i do feel a little stupid for that rant. I persevered and got my varrock armor two, so I'm a little calmer now. But I can't argue with your point. I will be a little more thorough on reading into things.

That item is: Transitive Property.

Then use boosters.

Well I am here to entertain and inform. And rushing through without reading happens to the best of us. I'm runecrafting for levels, and cash to fund 70 prayer, and when I started I ran off to the abyss first without my pouches, then without anything to help in the abyss, then forgetting I had my hatchet on me when I couldn't get into the law alter, and finally I have a habit of forgetting to replace my glory on its last charge.

 

My runescape character would lose his head if it wasn't part of a seamless model texture.
