I was thinking of getting 89 Herb. but i have a few concerns that i need help with.

 

1) Is 89 Herblore worth it?

 

2) What do I make to get 89?

 

3) How much will it cost me?

1) Is 89 Herblore worth it?

If you have the extra cash (~150M?), yes. Extra stats are better than equipment in most cases. Recover special + Dclaws is also extremely powerful.

 

2) What do I make to get 89?

If you have a lot of time and want to AFK, collect nightshades and make weapon poison++ from 81 to 89. You get roughly 2.5K profit per potion and can collect at maximum 100 nightshades an hour. You will also get 190xp per potion, or roughly 19K herb xp per hour.

Otherwise, I'd recommend super defense. The gp loss per potion is reasonable, and super defense is cheap so you don't have to worry about reselling your potions constantly.

After 84, I'd suggest recover special potions.

 

Remember to use Greenman's ale to boost +1 if you need it.

 

3) How much will it cost me?

Expect to pay around 25-28 gp per xp.

In total, roughly 150-200M.
