Is green d'hide bodies still the best way to get 80-90 crafting? I hear people talking about battlestaves..? Are they any good? I'm looking to spend about 20m or less from 80-90. I might be willing to push 25-30m. Sc needles can be used if possible.

Both ways of training are good. the only issue with battlestaves is that you can only buy 100 every 4 hrs. but if you do both plus SC, you are good to go :)

Battlestaves are significantly more efficient than d'hide. Green d'hide bodies cost more than 3x as much as water b'staves to get the same xp. It's just that battlestaves can only be bought 100 at a time on the GE. Still, you're definitely better off making battlestaves.
