May 2, 201016 yr Would it be viable to level mage 88-99 using purely slayer while making a profit/breaking even? I'm not sure what spell/equipment to use, so it'd be great if someone would suggest what to use. Also, I assume the dungioneering necklace would greatly help, so would be the easiest way to get the required level? I have no clue how to do anything with the skill as I just came back from a 3-4 months break. May 2, 201016 yr I'd make a little bit from merching and heb farming, then solo Rex for money. I'd reccomend fire surge after 95 and claws until then. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

May 2, 201016 yr Definitely get the new necklace. I just got it, and it absolultely owns! Imagine the necklace, staff of light, slayer helmet AND extreme mage pots/overloads/wolperting scrolls. I'm already hitting over 470 without the slayer helmet with ice barrage. Also, the skill is very fun to lvl IMO (actually too damn addicting, I should study ffs). A Guide to Chinning in Ape atoll: up to 325kxp/h!
May 2, 201016 yr I don't think the new necklace will stack with a full slayer helm, kinda like how a salve amulet doesn't stack with slayer helm bonuses, but I could be wrong. With your slayer level you might still lose money, at first, but I think in the long run you'll make it back and then some. Especially if you get lucky with say a visage drop.
