May 5, 201016 yr Well, I seem to be getting Iron Dragons more and more these days and I'm not exactly sure which way would be the best way to kill them. I've looked at several different guides and I'm just not sure. Notable Stats: 99 Attack, 87 Strength, 70 Prayer, 80 Magic, 82 Ranged, 60 Herblore. In-game name: Colt M1911 Anyway, here are my questions and concerns: - I'm currently training strength, so I'd like to use either a D Scimitar or a Leaf-bladed Sword. Which one should I go with (If I do decide to melee)?- I hear that ranging could be a good alternative. Would it be any good with my ranged level? If so, best setup? - I've had steel dragons blocked for a while now because they were so slow. But, since then, I have raised my attack considerably. Should I keep them blocked or should I unblock them?- If unblock, which setup would be best for Steels? Thanks in advance! Derp.
May 5, 201016 yr MEtal drags are so weak to stab it's not funny. With my stats, I decimated a steels task with lbs. Zs with super antifires or lbs with dfs. Super sets and piety. Melée pray. You'll kick [wagon] and take names. Ranging is pretty slow, and should only be used if it's a good 15 levels ahead of your attack level. You're maxedattack, no reason to range. Prayer gear for armour. Drops: Black Mask.Clue rewards: Sara Plate, 2 Robins, Some other random stuff.
May 5, 201016 yr If you have a decent (90+) defense level and a unicorn you can tank irons, but otherwise I agree with L0rd. zs>whip>lbs>dlong>dscim DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).
