  1. Maybe like 5 brews and ee. You really should be right with guthans, especially. Rest restores and a few melée pots/range pots.
  2. 1) Looking for a decent flipping/merching guide. Tedbuntys decent? 2) Now wouldn't be an ideal economic time to merch, would it? When will stuff go back up again? 3) Tried td's again yesterday and got piled after my first kill, using the rock immediatly right of the entrance. Is there a better spot to use? 4) What is the ideal method of dunging these days? C1 rushing to floor 30 then 5:5 larges? Or is c6 rushing on single smalls still ok? 5) Where do you find teams for 5:5s that arn't maxed? The unofficial worlds are pretty bad from what I've heard, and forums are often for 120/130+. Is there any dung ccs? (apart from dung smith, lol) 6) Average exp/hour? (or how long to get to 80/2m exp?)
  3. Dammet. He figured me out. Oh well, back to the grindstone.
  4. What, then, should I do with the cash? It would probably be a good idea to wait until I have a solid money maker downpact before drowning my cash, but how can i go about spending money to get one?
  5. Eeh, usually i'd wait till pg 2 to bump, but seeing as 1/3 of my slack wealth is in herbs i'd like an answer to the herbs question asap.
  6. Duuuude. You're gonna need more prayer and/or boosts then food, even if you're meleeing. Especially with guthans. Drop some brews.
  7. It goes against my fibers to pick a more expensive method... I've considered doing that method, not sure if it's the best. How long should I hold onto them for? Will herbs go back up?
  8. Are you tanking? If so, you want whip and dfs. Invent is 3:1 brews and restores. You don't really want a spec weapon if you're the tank. Focus on staying alive. If you're the attacker, you want gs and claws/dds for spec. Invent is 2/3 pure extreme sets, spec weapon, few spec restores (optional), 5/6 super restores and rest rocktails. Suit to taste. More ext sets if you want to repot more, ect.
  9. 1. Dunno, wouldn't reccomend. 2. Yes, it will.
  10. So now would be a good time to train herby? Hold onto those herbs I've got? Any answers to the new question in the OP?
  11. I'm saving up for overloads. Any idea why herbs are crashing? Should I make into unf asap and get out?
  12. I already do MTK. I leave 10 on herbs and 5 on Fish. I prefer to sell the herbs and get cheaper herby exp, though. Btw, here's a screen of my uber profits tab. I'm proud that i've gone a month without turning it into cash. <3 (Should I sell it, though?) Without the cash, it comes to about 20-21m.
  13. Keep in mind that Maul is only better for TEAM bossing: It's like a gs, you'll lack defence.
  14. You know, out of all the things, I never really thought of it like this. Time to buy back a whole heap of super sets and prayer pots...Ll Would it be worth buying my own ZS to use on fiends tasks and gargs, ect? I just hate having equipment I don't use and often end up selling stuff like that. ZS is definitely something all slayers should have, though gargs have pretty pitiful defense so a whip works pretty well against them. Also, how on earth are you losing money at wfs? If you're praying piety and only going pray range if your hp gets low you should still be profiting. Gargs are super weak to crush, apparently, and therefore i'd think ZS would own against them. "Definitley something all slayers should have" Do you only use it for Wf tasks? Probably cause i'm tight...:P Also, you're probably way more pro then I am. Or something really, really right ;) The current best moneymaker seems to be frost dragons with 4m an hour at little risk, but requires ridiculous levels for most people. Boss hunting is always high risk with good profit assuming average luck, but you need experience in it. Most noncombat moneymakers don't get anywhere near combat, but are low risk with guaranteed money gains. Slayer is most likely the most popular moneymaker, if you have good stats and have the right equipment, using turmoil/extremes will actually make you more money in the long run(as your killing speed increases dramatically). Thanks for taking a go at the question. I know about combat money-makers, but I lack the skills for most of the big ones, and therefore am looking for something else to pass the time (and to get overloads with). By Risk, I really meant risk of losing money over a GE update and/or risk of dying (especially true for making unf). Once again, thanks to everyong, especially Pere for his extremly detailed answer. In regards to the invent, nothing I didn't know, but perhaps more on the methodology (I pray range and piety the whole time). Looks like i'm back to pietying all tasks (after I get ovls >_>) How many prayer pots/super sets should I keep banked at a time? Loads? 2/3 tasks worth and restock as I need them?

  16. Combat pots are 400 for Atk and Str. Super Attacks are 1k ea, Super Strs are 5k ea. I know they give epic boosts, but for the amount of attention I pay (and therefore the amount of pots I end up using a task) I find Combat pots to be better.
  17. Yup, they're cheap as and give the same boost as a normal attack/str. Sounds perfect for slayers on a budget.
  18. Pere, I was also told to get stats in the 90s and a bigger cashpile/money maker (2m+ per hour?) before I think about pietying tasks. I've been at odds for how to train combat until then, and my first answer was to slay on a real budget...As opposed to AZ's (I like slayer, i just can't afford to piety..>:P) Appreciate the answers (especially Pere), but nothing's really helped me with my main problem (My current task is Wfs >_<)
  19. Rapier is 25% damage against Corp - half non-spear and additional half chaotic weapon penalty, iirc.
  20. Depends on what you're going to do, really. Corping you should get a zs. Gwd, you got your rapier. If you can afford a ely/divine, get that and upgrade your rapier to a Long for bandos/zammy, or Cbow for arma. If not, get a chaotic kite. Otherwise, save your tokens IMO. It's been a while since I've seen a list of bosses, and I know I've missed at least td's.
  21. 1: Dunno 2: I've also heard that, worth giving it a try 3: world 1 4: No.
  22. Making unf pots - i've often heard this said as a good way of making money (700k+ an hour), but is it viable? Risky? Effective over long periods of time? What about Dks? Risky? What levels does it become viable? Where and what method (no super antifires, 80 combat stats, 73 prayer and summon) is best for green dragons? Apart from Farming and dailies (which I do), spinning flax and picking fungus, what other old reliable methods are there for cash? Does a place (eg: Runescoop) have a list of old standbys?
  23. 1) Dunno. 2) Depends on if they make a 99 slayer monster that you can camp for epic moneys, i'm not getting 99 slayer just to show off that i've got an emo black cape
  24. I'd rather make my time on RS worth it, wasting time posting on TIF. Shoot me for being stupid. Also, the prospect of gaining about 2.5m slayer exp before it starts becoming profitable, at a estimated 20k/40k an hour makes me think that even RC would be a better option. It'l be like 4 days straight slaying at 25k an hour >_>
  25. And that will generate awesome profit? I sure hope so :| I'll sell up my slayer gear and take a more serious look at DKing then, if it really is good cash and stuff. I dunno about just bringing a just in case weapon though - it's like going Bandos and bringing a crossbow "Just in case you wanna go do some arma, too".
