Mage slaying is basically Sol + Good Shield + (ahrims or Battle robes). If you use Battle Robes, no FSH for you. If you use Ahrims, then use a Slayer Helm.
  2. In soviet Runescape, I see gaining exp being equivilant to recreational time IRL, and therefore a net loss of cash (Same with wining and dining IRL). Making money is, well, exactly that. But RL is a waste of exp anyway, don't take my word for it.
  3. I suppose that argument holds water if you're just chugging brews...Change the prayer to protect melee though, and only use a Bone Dagger (p++) though. I'd say the title's a little misleading, though.
  4. I've had no personal experience at extended armadyl trips, but I recall from one of Geodoni's vids saying that he averaged an hour a trip or so. Considering Geo has a Divine and the OP has a DFS, I thought it was a reasonable assumption to say that he'd stay less time then Geo.
  5. A *little* untrue? :x
  6. In short: Yes. Woox breezed through nomad with no trouble. That says something.

Sounds like it's about the same as alching, then. 60k/hour and breaking even ~= 65k/70k per hour and losing like 20k. Anyone else got any answers to any other questions?
  8. Woah, really? Sorry, my mistake then >_<
  9. Overloads are 5 mins/dose, so 8 doses lasts 40 minutes... I don't really see a trip lasting more then that long. Maybe an hour, if you're lucky.

Flax, Green Dragons, Chaos druids... Damn i'm all out of ideas. Basically anything you can do on a main that doesn't require heaps of tanking.

What does full penance do, apart from that prayer restoring set bonus? Does it give a bonus to games, or does it just show you're maxed?
  12. He asked for overloads, and I don't believe that Lenny's guide has a section on that. I do know it uses extreme ranging pots, and I disagree with using any boosts but overloads with brews. That's just my personal opinion though. Apart from my forgetting a mith grapple (>_<), my invent's basically identical to lenny's, except i don't have all the restores in my invent vs yak. I actually have had experience soloing arma, too, :3 But it's not pro, and you're probably right.
  13. Critique from a fellow noob. I've also removed some Hide Tags so it's easier to look at, but that might be me...>_> [hide] Some formatting issues. There's lots of spaces everywhere...No bigger sized, different colour headings. Reduce the space between paragraphs, make the titles bigger and a different colour. If i get bored enough, i might do it myself (Don't hold me to it, though >_>) You can actually do pretty much every boss, it's just about doing them effectivly...:P More nitpicking, but some of the Dungeoneering bosses and Quest bosses are both easier and lower leveled. Like, they don't even move :P The Chase should really go further down, in the stratagy. Alternativly, move the below down to the bottom, so your format looks like this: [hide]-Name -Introduction -Gear -Method -Rewards -Conclusion[/hide] Could Include a link to the Tip-It drop table. I dunno if Crapload is appropriate for a guide...I don't really mind the language, but in the world of guide writing... Ok, this is wayyyy to spaced out. Seriously, you don't need the bajillion spare lines everywhere. A single line is enough. Sub-headings should be indented, as well as major headings bolded. Pictures would also be good to include, for maxed gear. Not everyone wants to see a wall of text (informative as it may be). Good ones to include would be a minimalistic picture and a maxed picture, just so people can get an idea at a glance. Keep the flowcharts there, though. I'm not going to critique any of your setups (unless there's a serious flaw, or you want me to), but having 60 Attack as the minimum attack, then having D long > Guthan's warspear... It seems a little counterproductive. If D long is better then Guthan's, then take it out, because Guthans both is more expensive, has a higher requirement, and costs per hour. Again, way to many spaces and not enough pictures. It also doesn't seem as developed as the prayer section at a glance... A heading for the Tanking section needs to be inserted, sub headings need to be indented, ect... While the methods may be "practically the same", not everyone is at the level of a functional human being (such as us). All differences should be touched on. The tone should also be a little bit more formal, and the bit about the drops should really be moved to the drops section. You're missing a ranging section. There is a few safespots, iirc, and if you bring bird scrolls you can basically pull a sara gwd. You're also missing a conclusion. The stuff about where it's located should also really go in the introduction. See my formatting comments from before. You're not also chasing the KBD - It's more like a hunt. Chase only really applies to CB (if you don't stun the core for some stupid reason), Mole and Sara. No need for over 9000 ">"'s after the whip. Everyone knows it's better. If they can afford it, they'll bring it. This section seems a little more developed and compact then the Mole's section. Again, not going to critique much of the content. This should really go down further in the stratagy section. Also, getting into the 90's means the guide is no longer for noobs. In short, tanking's not really viable for noobs. I'm getting tired of the formatting comments for now, you should know what to do. I'm also really tempted to fix this up myself, as i've wanted to write a guide for noobs :3 The note on Extreme Ranging should really speak for itself ;) Nothing to say here I haven't said before. Should have it's own section. This should go under a troubleshooting section. Should go under KBD stratagy. I assume this is under construction... I've solo'd arma before with my stats, and the addy bars from the KC basically covered the costs. If you were a real masochist, and lucky, you could probably solo arma.[/hide] Might refurbish it a little for you, if i'm game.

I haven't actually done anything since i'm not P2P at the moment...:D I have probably gotten about 10m cash, and a few combat levels? since I started here. I can't quite remember. All I know is that at one point this year I was poor as (like 5m-) and now i've got about 60m.
  15. Fury, SW Cape, Inf/Mystic Boots, B gloves, Mage's book/Tome of Frost/Arcane, Seer's/Life/Explorer's. Curses/prayers are interchangeable. Curses gives you soul split which does replace blood barrage, at least imo, but normal gives you +15% or Auguary.
  16. 2 Overloads, EE, Uni Scrolls/broads here Brew x3, Restore Brew X3, Restore Brew X3, Restore Brew X3, Restore Brew X3, Restore Uni Scrolls/Broads Here, BTP Tabs, Uni Pouch, Super Prayer/Extra Overload/Blah

Then the GP/Exp goes up considerably.. How much are charms valued at each, approximatly?
  18. This one. Run in there and start killing stuff. The only difference with using a Yak and Overloads as opposed to a Uni and Ext Rangings is that you need to bring a uni pouch/scrolls in your yak for use after it's finished. 3:1 or 7:2 Brews to restores, and have about 2 (4) overloads (experiment with it). If you have Soul Split, overload at 38 KC and soul split the last 2 kc, that way you're on full health. Time your overloads. They re-boost your stats every 15 seconds, and they restore 500 health at the end of it. Stay on max health or close to it throughout 4 minutes, then let your health go down in the last minute. Make sure to keep doing the 3 brews/1 restore method between the overload boosts, otherwise you'll lose stat points. (overloads actually boost 26 points at 99 every 15 seconds, giving it the illusion of maxing the whole time). If you only need a little bit of health, drink one brew right before a overload boost.
  19. L0rdAki replied to L0rdAki's topic in Help and Advice
Agreed, 8gp/exp isn't bad considering the charms, but the major costs are the battle robes, sol, and time spent learning to lure. :|
  20. 400k must be with wines then...;_; Using 200k exp/hour, it probably works out to be like 50-60 something hours.
  21. If I remember correctly.
  22. Um, IIRC cooking ends up averaging about 250k-400k an hour, so using the lowest estimate, we get 52 hours from 0. Since you're already basically 1m exp, knock off 4 hours to get 48.
  23. I have no idea on cost. Since you're 70, you can do lobs w/o burning with cook gaunts. Iirc it's Lobs to Swordy level, Swordies to Monk level, Monks to 94 (then use sharks), Sharks to 95, rocks to 99.
  24. I'm not maxed, so that doesn't help :| at 1 stat point/minute, I end up spec barring twice every repot. Is it worth doing this, or should I be repoting much earlier like you do? (I assume that maxed ext's give the same as maxed Ovls, so 125.)
  25. L0rdAki replied to guzoliub's topic in Help and Advice
I don't have Turmoil, and always thought it was +10% of your opponents stats. Rereading the OP, I'm wrong. My bad :zaru In response to Bedman, i'm gonna go watch some of stokenut's vids, and see what happens.
