I need help on trying to get my scanner printer to work, to get some pics onto deviant art.

 

The printer is a Cannon MP210.

 

Whenever i start to use it, the letters and numbers E 1 6 come up in that order. It doesn't let me scan anything.

 

Also afterwhich, when this problem is gone, where would the picture appear from the scanner.

 

Any little bits of help and advice are appreciated. Thanks.

I searched the support tab for E16 and got this:

 

Issue: ERROR LED: E, 1, 6

 

1. Press and hold Stop/Reset button for at least five seconds

2. Replace ink cartridge(s) MP210
