Than I stopped for a bit with the signature and didn't bother adding a background letting my post of the above picture fall in the forums. I than decided later on the add a background and got this.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I pixeled the guy in the middle with the cape and all.. The rest I used some paint brush tools to make the blue fire and than used some filters on it, same as with the background, so I cant really call this a pixel. anyways I tried shading the guy again and here is what I got.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well what do you think? I took a lot of time on that shading. Do you think it looks better and do u like the shading style? I am also curious on how much it would be worth so a price estimate would be great as well. If you got any suggestions, comments, wish to flame it go ahead.

I think dark lines around the Magic would make it look better.

Could really use some anti-aliasing. I actually like the first version more!

himm thats a good idea I decided to put the dark lines around the magic so it would look a bit better becuase there were parts where it made it look bad agaist the mage and background

I didnt want to anti alias the mage so it made this task insanely long and annoying for something so simple...

change the b/g-it dosent fit the ice-flame +ice =odd...but other than that its good 8/10

well I seem to like the contrasting colors becuase it helps the magic and mage sitck out from the background... but if a number of people agree with you I could definatly change the background... but the problem is what? I dont want to really do some wildy or borrows scene... I see sigs like that to often now.

I like the first one. The background isnt detailed enough to justify it's existance. Especially since it doesnt have lighting that should be there from the magic.

so u sugest I make a new one?
