I just got my first genie in a couple of months today while burying bones in lanthas trainingarea. I want to know how often everybody gets genies and what they were doing while they got them

They're actually one of the more common random events. I've gotte loads doing lots of stuff, I can't remember all exactly. My first one was in Catherby, doing nothing. I saw a genie and I thought "That genie's never been there before, I'll talk to it!". And it gave me a lamp! Yay... (This was beore I read the random events list in the manual)
