A great day in sport for the Kiwis. (Please read Aussies ;))

I got up at 3.30am this morning to watch the rugby, the All Blacks were playing in Scotland, the final team on the Grand Slam tour, we beat them 29-10 (would have liked a bigger score line, but hey, what can you do about it!). Second time we've every done the Grand Slam (which is having all the trophies in the cabinet at the end of the season, we had the Tri-Nations, Bledisloe Cup, won the Lions tour, and now the end of year tour).

Then woke up again at 7am for the league, to see the Kiwis beat the Aussies and leave them scoreless, 24-0. First time in around 20 years we've left them scoreless which I thought was pretty choice.

I'd also really appreciate to see what some of the Aussies think, haha.

Other then that, not many other people would know what the hell I'm talking about..

Yeah man!

While i wasn't as keen as you i only got up for the league, am watching the rugby replay now :P . Whoa what happened to Australia in the league? The ref wasn't helping them i'll admit  , neither the video ref.

But great stuff, Bluey is a champ, bad luck Aussies :D .

Well being an English union fan, I have to say, the All Blacks are out of this world at the moment. Fully deserving that they've got the whitewash.

Whether they can maintain it for another 2 years for the world cup remains to be seen, but congratulations nevertheless. It really has been a join to watch.

We should have had another try, but they said they couldn't see the ball on the ground. Meh doesn't matter, it's only rugby :P

Yeah I agree Phil. But they did really well, they were talking about the 40 - 60 point hammering, you played better then Wales and Ireland.

By the way, the Wallabies lost to Wales!? That makes it their 7th or 8th loss in a row or something isn't it?

I woke up for the England v All Blacks game the week before, and that was pretty nerve racking, ref didn't have a very good game, he gave some poor decisions to the English aswell, but I think we got the short end of the stick on that one.

And well, has been a good few weeks in sport as we won the hosting rights to the 2011 rugby world cup, going to go to some of those games!

To be honest, if we can't beat 14 vs 15 for most of a half you deserve it.

We just didn't create anything, unlike Almighty Dan Carter (peace be upon him) who just plays for fun.

I also got up to watch both of these games, ( i kinda stayed up all night because the kick boxing was on also ) and i must say the kiwis played a very good defensive games... not letting the aussies have 1 point!

I have been getting up early hours of the morning for the last 4 weeks to watch the all blacks. They have played outstanding, the grand slam is just phenominal (sp)

Although rumors say that tana is retiring now  But atleast we still got ma'a nonu for that centre position.

I must say that scotland did alot better than what i thought though :o

I hope the all blacks can keep up this type of game untill the world cup. :)

I think it sucks that Tana may be retiring. I thought it was all a hoax, 'cause if you were retiring you'd announce it at the beginning of the tour, not the day before your last match!

But his interview at the end of the game sort of hinted towards he may be leaving the good game..
