Well, I recently bought this crappy remote shutter off of Trademe (E-Bay). After 3 days, it broke. I found out that it is the wire that tells the camera to take the photo that is broken.

I have 2 questions.

 

1: Should I just re-solder and see if that fixes it.

2: If that fails, I'll just use it for parts. Can you buy push buttons that are 2 stage. So in my case, half press for focus, full for photo.

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
