STORY 1 Robin and the Wall

Outside of the small hut the clouds had unleashed an amazing amount of snow, the door, now completely blockaded by snow trapped the young Robin inside. Inside of the hut the young boy sat on his cot, he had already read his few books so many times he could recite them from memory, he looked around the room for a source of amusement, he saw his meager collection of books, his stove, his eyes stopped abruptly on a small lump in the wall, he had never noticed it before as usually he was either reading or working on for Master on the farm. Robin examined the lump on the earthen wall for a few slow minutes, slowly Robin grabbed his kitchen knife and walked over to the wall. Robin carefully carved away the wall with the dull knife, hacking bits of dirt and straw to the flood. After a short ten minutes robin hit something hard, he hacked around the object until there was enough space to remove it. Slowly Robin pulled the object out of the wall and using all of his 12 year old might landed it on his small cot. He brushed away the dirt and dust covering the object, uncovering a chest! Robin backed away and admired his hard labor, wiping the brow of his forehead he walked towards the chest again and examined the lock hanging from the handle. Robin winded up his dull knife and in the most fashionable style simply bashed the rusted lock off of the chest. Robin put the knife, that had now lost its form down on the bed. The young boy opened the chest very slowly, his eyes immediately locked on to a long sheathed sword laying on the chest's floor. He slowly raised the sword with both hands out of the chest. He placed it onto the bed and Slowly unsheathed it. To his eyes amazement he fully unsheathed a long red sword that radiated power and death, shaking exitedly he placed it back in its sheath and put it under his bed and went to sleep anxious at what the following day had in store. Robin awoke the following morning and immediately pulled the sword out from under his cot, he put it into his bag and ran to the market, he tried to sell it everywhere but no one knew what it was or how valuable it was. Frustrated Robin ran to the nearby city of Falador and ran through the streets advertising his mighty sword on every corner of the large city. A mighty adventurer dressed in white armor came up to him and offered Robin Ninety thousand gold coins to the boy in exchange for the sword, Robin agreed, not even knowing how valuable the sword was he was ecstatic at the news of the outrageous price of the weapon from his wall. Robin walked away from Falador a rich and happy boy but unfortunately some robbers in a forest by Falador robbed him of his gold, and Robin began to return to the farm he lived on as a crushed chore boy, but on the way back he noticed a lump in the ground and began to dig.

STORY 2 Thief’s Problem

Jack's Nickname was the Fox for a few notable reasons. First his bright red hair was his most outstanding physical trait, the other reason for his nickname was that we was the best thief on the good side of the Salve. In fact he was so good that on most occasions, other master thief’s asked for autographs and some asked for advise. Both of with he did of course, for a price. Jack considered his life to be fairly good, stealing from the oblivious rich and keeping all of the spoils was only one aspect of his good life, but also his wonderful girlfriend Alisa. Jack considered himself very lucky, for he himself was only an average looker while Alisa sported wide hips and flowing blond hair, both of which he greatly appreciated every time he saw her. Jacks thoughts were cut short by a loud knocking on the door, “Its open, com in” yelled jack. A Short flatfaced man by the name of Grimey opened the door with a pale look on his face, “Why so pale” inquired Jack. “Its yur girl jack they got’s yur girl mate” answered Grimey. Jack’s expression of relaxed composure collapsed instantaneously as he heard the news from the short man, he immediately lifted himself off his bed. “Is this a joke” Asked the desperate Jack. “no mate this be a hundred percent true we just got the news from Mikey”. “What happened” asked Jack. “Alisa and Mikey was doin a job on the mayors house and she got caught by some guards mate, now they be askin for a trade, you for her”. “DAM IT” roared the angered Jack. “Calm urself mate, we are master thieves we can break into anything, including a jail cell” Reasoned Grimey. Jack immediately understood were this was going, and bolted for the door. He was going to do this, and he even knew how. The Fox dashed out onto the Varrock back alley and into the outer laying street, he zipped past hoards of travelers and city goers until he reached a small building in another back alley, Jack opened a small door in the wall and began to go to work.

It was eleven at night when Jack finally emerged from his workshop, he had everything he would need for this job in his bag, he knew the stakes of this operation and knew if he failed he would most likely never see Alisa again. Jack zipped back and fourth along the Varrock back streets winding his way through the city like a monkey in the trees, he knew these streets like the back of his hand and soon was on the outskirts of the city. All Varrock prisoners went to Edgeville, it was common knowledge, what Jack knew that others didn’t was when. He knew that at 5:30 am Prisoners were transported from the Palace dungeons to the Edgeville Jail by carriage, he had the perfect plan for getting the girl back all he had to do now is wait.

Alisa looked out of the small barred window of her carriage she knew that Jack would save her, the guards had just laughed when she said that he was coming to the recue. She knew better then to doubt the Fox the master of all thieves, and as she felt the carriage begin to move she had no second guessing, Jack would surely save her. The landmine was set the arrows were ready to be launched from the bows, and Jack was ready for a fight, he knew that he would be facing over 20 Varrock guards, but he was hoping to reduce that number with the mines and the sprung trap bows, he knew the convoys setup, on the front car 15 soldiers were stationed as sentries and the rear carriage only had 5 soldiers to watch the prisoners, he knew that if he could take out the first carriage he would have a chance of winning if the sprung trapped bows had the desired effect. Jacks thoughts were cut short as the sound of hooves on cobblestones echoed through the night air. Jack tensed his body, his Adrenaline began to pump through his body, he was getting in the zone for a fight. The carriage driver sat on the seat of the first vehicle, he was half asleep and did not notice the small canisters in the dirt sprawled in front of his carriage and only knew his danger when the landmine detonated and destroyed his body and the bodies of the 15 soldiers in his carriage. Bodies of Armored soldiers flew in random directions as the row of explosives detonated in front and below of the carriage, the 5 soldiers in the rear cart jumped out of the prison carriage and raised shields creating a barrier around the carriage “SHOW YOURSELF COWARD’ yelled a guard captain, Jack assumed he was the one in command, Jack watched as the soldiers fanned our searching for him, as one of the soldiers stepped on the invisible wire he had laid for his arrow trap 20 bows fired at once killing four of five guards the last, the captain himself stood alone guarding Alisa from him. Jack knew he had no choice and unsheathed his adamant longsword and charged out of the underbrush screaming, Jack raised his sword at the captain, the captain raised his blade to block, the two men clashed for what seemed like an hour for Jack. Jack sized up the captain in his mind, the captain outweighed him, had a height advantage and probably had more combat training then Jack, but Jack knew his girl depended on his ability to man up to the task and so as all desperate men do Jack tackled the captain to the ground. The unexpected move stunned the captain and gave jack the opening he needed and began hammering on the captain’s head with the hilt of his blade until the man was clearly unconscious. Jack stood up from the captains unconscious body and went to Alisa. “hey babe you wanna get outa here” Jack said with a smirk to Alisa, Alisa smiled back and took his hand, the two embraced each other for what seemed like an hour until the finally came apart. Jack unlatched the carriage horse, and the two master thieves rode away from the city of Varrock and into the rising Sun.

STORY 3 The Recruitment of Dursk

When Jonathan Dursk told his parents he wanted to join the Asgarnian army he got a mixed answer. His dad a retired soldier himself seemed genuinely happy, his mom a fulltime Gardner and Florist almost feinted from the thought, but to be honest he didn’t care what they thought, he wanted to be a soldier. So when he turned 16 he left home to become one of Asgarnians finest, but first he had to go through boot camp. Although for his age he was remarkably strong the boot camp training was still hard as hell, sleep at 9pm, wakeup at 4am. Then calisthenics, sword, spear, mace, and shield training at 8 he had dinner and RnR, which he spent with his friend Rennen. Rennen was the exact opposite of Dursk, he was a short squat teenager with bad acne and he spoke with such a slang that Dursk could only understand Rennen after knowing him for several moths. Even with his strange personality and physical quirks Dursk admired him for his work ethic and his belief in never giving up on a task you begin. The two were inseparable they did every drill together from practice fighting to eating to basic medical they became as close to brothers as possible. The drill sergeant Sgt. Gill was known for a short fuse, even among other Drill sergeants, Gill was a short but unbelievably built man, standing at a total of 5.2 he stared up at Dursk during the beginning of Sword practice. “Hey Dursk” barked the short Drill Sergeant. “Yes Sir” Responded Dursk. “ARE YOU GAY”. “No sir”. “THEN WHY IS RENNEN YOUR BOYFRIEND” commanded Gill. “He is not my boyfriend Sir” Answered Dursk. “ARE YOU TALKING BACK TO ME MAGGOT” yelled Gill. “I am not talking back sir I am answering your question” answered Dursk. Gill grinded his teeth and sucker punched Dursk in the gut knocking the wind out of the teenagers lungs. Dursk recovered and stood back up in formation, and began sword training with Rennen. “Hey Rennen” said Dursk. “yeah w’s op Dursk Mate” Answered Rennen in his strange slang. “What do you think of Gill” inquired Dursk. “He be a Bsterd that on(e)” Replied Rennen. Gill walked by and the two paused there conversation momentarily. “I agree Rennen” responded Dursk. As the two friends practiced there swordplay the sun set on the training ground and they two went inside and began to eat somewhere in the future battles would be fought and the names Dursk and Rennen would be drenched in blood.

STORY 4 Frontliner

Tyson wiped his dirty forearm along his brow clearing the fresh lining of sweat that soaked his forehead, the sun beat down mercilessly on the corporal’s face and bare chest, the 95 degree weather south of Ardougn would be bad enough if he we simply taking a stroll but digging trenches is another thing entirely. In the 95 degree weather with the sun beating down on him the A hole superiors telling him to dig faster and harder, “hehe if they tried it they’d be down in an hour” thought Tyson. Tyson spent the rest of the day digging his trench so he could sleep safely, “The dam gnomes are so sneaky, you could never know when an attack was coming” thought Tyson. After the daylight was done Tyson ate his ration and slept hard, he awoke the next morning to the screams of dying men, he got up out of his hole and looked out at the field before them to see a thousand charging gnomes coming for his head, he grabbed his spear and waited for the wave of gnomes to bear down on him like a blanket, the gnomes fired a volley of arrows killing the man beside him, he grabbed the fallen man’s bow and let off three arrows nailing three gnomes, the wave came closer with every second, Tyson prayed to Saradomin and raised his spear. The gnomes crashed upon the earthenworks like a tidal wave, Tyson Stabbed his spear into every expose piece of flesh he saw, hot blood spilled onto him and a pool began to form by his boots, he continued to hack and slash, his man to his right felled by a strike to the head, his left man bludgeoned by a mace, his brain out of his skull. Tyson knew it was over he continued to fight the futile reality of his lifes end. As Tyson’s hope faded the Gnomes began to retreat, running over destroyed battlements and dismembered bodies, Tyson began to smile, and then laugh. He was the only one left in his trench, Saradomin Must have heard his prayers, and as he though this a stray arrow pierced his throat, he looked down at his lap and saw his blood gushing onto his leggings, he raised his hands in a desperate attempt at stopping the bleeding. As black spots began to fog his vision he realized that life was fair and Saradomin couldn’t care less about a maggot like him and that he would die like the rest of his trench and that not a single soul in the world would care, one bit.

First of all, please learn how to use paragraphs. Blocks of text make my eyes hurt.

Basically grammatical and punctual problems abound.

As the two friends practiced there swordplay the sun set on the training ground and they two went inside and began to eat somewhere in the future battles would be fought and the names Dursk and Rennen would be drenched in blood.

That sentence made absolutely no sense. It sounded like a thing straight from Half Life: Full Life Consequences.

And as far as the altogether packages go, they just didn't work for me as short stories. They were more like parts of outlines for much bigger stories or something.
