Well like in my avatar, you could do the top of it like that and make it sort of blend in. I'm not saying do the whole lot like that, I mean my avatar took me long enough, but perhaps just the top of the pile?

The Orb? No its supposed to be a head, heads arent orbs they are odd ovals
