duutje
Help me! Runescape won't load. I'm at a boarding school in England and all of these computers are linked in a network. I load RS in low detail, unsigned applet. It starts loading, but when it goes to "requesting animations", the screen goes grey and i get: Error 105 - Unable to connect to game server. Runescape was unable to connect to the game server. This is most likely caused by a firewall blocking the connection. To resolve this: If you have firewall or security software installed please ensure RuneScape/Java is allowed to open outgoing network connections on ports 43594 and port 43595. Note windows-XP service pack 2 has built in firewall software. If when loading RuneScape this asks if you want to allow the connection, you need to say 'yes'. If that doesn't help then an external firewall may be causing the problem. Please ask your network adminstrator/ISP to open ports 43594 and 43595 for TCP traffic. If problems persist then please refer to our technical-FAQ which can be found in the FAQ section of our website. What can I do to make RS work?? BTW, I don't have any admin rights and if I download the RS client, it won't run... Edit: I'm running on Windows XP, but I have no idea what the specs of this computer is... Sharper
Talk to the powers that be for your computer's network. They can help you sort it out alot faster. I doubt you have any control over the network's restrictions so any advice we give will probably not be very effective. Unless you wanted to use a Proxy, which sort of suck.
