Right so basically i just bought a geforce 240gt for my computer

Ive got a basic computer now its like 2gb ram 240gb hdd

Its all working fine BUT when i load up runescape my browser (firefox) seems to freeze and then i have to close it

I dont know what the problem is

I would try reinstalling drivers, especially if you used the ones on the disk that the GPU came with because they could be outdated.. going to the manufacturers website you should be able to find the drivers.

If that doesn't work try reinstalling firefox & Java, after that I am out of ideas but I know your PC can run RuneScape so it's most likely a software issue.
