What is flipping?+TDs question

Featured Replies

I've heard about it but don't know what it is. :shades:

And tormented demons, I have 80 range and constitution, 79 strength, 76 attack, 61 prayer and 62 summoning. Would I be able to solo/team them? I have full void range+melee.

Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.

Basically buy low, sell high, in the GE of course.

For example, if i brought 10000 dragon bones for 50 gp under, and then sold them for mid 4 hours after, that would be flipping (and it would make an easy 500k profit).

Thats the half assed version of it, i reccomend you read a somewhat less half assed guide for the guts of it :)

It really is the best money in the game in terms of time/profit if you have more than 10-20 mill to merch with, i myself make around 250-750k a day in a stable economy with around 15 mill to throw around, this is with very little effort.

Once you get really good and/or get lots of money, its pretty much the best money in the game period.

Ah thanks for the explanation. Not that I have that much, but is it possible with ~1m?

Pretty limited with 1 mill, but with 2 mill in tow you can make 50-100k per flip with treasure trail items (cavaliers, saradomin, zammy godarmor, etc), assuming you can flip twice a day thats 100-200k a day.

It only becomes really good once you hit the 10mill+ mark, but hey theres no reason you can't start earlier for a bit of practise (its better to make a mistake and lose 100k than it is to make a mistake and lose 1 mill)

So say for example i bought 5000 adamant helms 50gp under, then sold 4 hours later, I would be making a ~100k profit? Or is my maths messed up.

Thats actually 250k, 50 GP x 5000 = 250k.

Addy helms have a pretty low profit margin though, you wont be able to buy it for 50 under. Wouldn't reccomend it.

What would you recommend?

TT items in general, i won't be too specific but for F2p, god armors have some of the best profit margins.

Just as a sample, when TT items stabilize, try buying a zammy/sara kite for 30k/50k under, and selling 30k/50k over.
