Watch topic: daily digest help

Hi, I watch a couple topics on here and I used to get notified when a new reply was made, but only one notification that covered all new replies. Then the format changed and I switched to the daily digest option instead. A few weeks ago, I suddenly stopped getting the emails. I tried unwatching and watching it again, which didn't work. I looked through settings in my profile and found one thing that needed to be checked off, that I guess didn't need to be in the past. I fixed that, and still won't get email notifications, unless I choose delayed or immediate notification. I don't want to use these though, because I end up getting tons of emails where one would suffice.

 

What am I doing wrong? Why isn't daily digest working for me anymore?
