  1. Hi, I watch a couple topics on here and I used to get notified when a new reply was made, but only one notification that covered all new replies. Then the format changed and I switched to the daily digest option instead. A few weeks ago, I suddenly stopped getting the emails. I tried unwatching and watching it again, which didn't work. I looked through settings in my profile and found one thing that needed to be checked off, that I guess didn't need to be in the past. I fixed that, and still won't get email notifications, unless I choose delayed or immediate notification. I don't want to use these though, because I end up getting tons of emails where one would suffice. What am I doing wrong? Why isn't daily digest working for me anymore? Thanks in advance.
  2. It only happens if the the leader is a member or ex-member? I've been going with a member friend a lot and he's done the agility and hunter ones, but I haven't gotten experience from it. I have always been the leader, so maybe this is the way to avoid it?
  3. These aren't 2007, but I had them saved: February 2005 March 2006 May 2008 And as far as 2007, I have a picture of the top 29. >.> It's right before Syzygy passed Mendark 9: May 2007
  4. I don't remember seeing her name posted, but Kivi48 is seemingly pure F2P at 1290 total.
  5. One other reason why the crown cannot be hidden is that it would become all too easy for a scammer to say "I'm a mod, give me your pass so I can make you one" without it being necessary to show a crown as proof. Basically, anyone could claim to be a player mod and people would have no reason to believe they were lying, seeing as mods wouldn't have a crown. With that said, I still think it would be easier, more helpful and more fair for mods to not have the crown shown in the chat, but I understand why it's there and have to agree with the reasoning.
  6. World 13 is my home world, partly because it's the world I started in, and partly because it's my favorite number. Or at least, that's the reason I decided to stay there.
  7. Same, I still find it fun as a nonmember although people often question me on that. I'm not in a clan and I don't PK but I still enjoy F2P. :)
  8. I'd normally say take the big bones because I prefer experience over money or cool items, but maybe buy the party hat and let the price rise. Sell it eventually and have more than enough money to buy big bones.
  9. ^ Along the same lines as that, my brother got a noted bow in a trade and we sorta decided it was a useless picture of a bow.
  10. Only typing the first few letters of someone's name strikes me as lazy but I don't mind being called Oce, and Bren is my name... However, there are some funny ones. Octoburn Ocolothobren Octolob Ocelebotbren Ocelatron Othlebren I have a somewhat large list of names people have called me due to their lack of reading skills. ^^; I also particularly hate being called by my level and not my name.
  11. Knowledge Base>How do I report abuse? "If the chat filter has blocked out the profanity then there is no need to send in a report as they did not actually break the rules." :) I don't think reports from "higher" levels are looked into moreso than others, because that wouldn't be fair at all. They obviously can't base whose reports they read on people's levels; it doesn't always reflect experience with the game. Even so, experience shouldn't be looked at when looking at players' reports, in my opinion.
  12. I usually start a conversation with anyone else around while I'm training and I always reply when someone says hi to me. Like others have said already, I've met a lot of good friends that way. However that's not always the case...
  13. Once I tried it for a while, I got used to very bright and now I find the others too dark.
  14. I've seen that a few times in the high scores but I don't remember where they were or if they're even still like that. I have no idea why that would happen though...
  15. 1. What made you remain F2P? At first it was because I played RuneScape enough as a nonmember, imagine how much I'd play if I were a member! That still holds true and I wouldn't become a member now because I've done so much on F2P already. I guess I don't want my accomplishments so far to be "diminished" because I became a member, as many people have been saying. 2. Have you ever wanted to be member? Not really, it just never interested me and there was always the fact that I didn't want to become too addicted to RuneScape by becoming a member where there's so much to do. 3. Do you plan to be a member in the future? No, I highly doubt I ever will.
  16. Well I've always liked Falador, particuarly so since the graphics update. It's not the main buying/selling city and it's not extremely crowded. I never realled liked Varrock and I think it's because when I started playing RuneScape I was on a really laggy computer and it always froze when I went there because there were so many people. Also, I don't really merchant so I didn't have to spend a lot of time there. I also really like the White Knights Castle because I leveled there a lot. One other place is the ice cave south of Port Sarim because I spent most of my time training there for a few months. Not usually too crowded and just a place I like in general. :D
  17. Same here. I was wondering why I could never shear it and why it came with a different text... Then I realized.
  18. Like someone else said, I don't reward beggars, but I've seen people do that. The person annoys them so much that they give in and give them a set of armor, money, or runes or something. But then the beggar thinks, "Hey I can get money this way!" and bothers someone else. People call me mean and greedy because of it sometimes but...oh well. I think I'll get over it.
  19. I don't think the reason was to fight against fansites, but I know it will be appreciated at least a little by players because people can now direct others to a source of information without worrying about being banned for mentioning outside sites. It looks like it has potential, but like others have said, it won't cover everything that fansites do. But as a reference to direct others to for help, it might turn out to be a nice addition.
  20. That would be 83 attack, strength, defence and hitpoints now, F2P. Most of my other skills are really low leveled because I trained pure combat for a long time. My other stats have suffered..
  21. I don't hate them; there's nothing wrong with them in my opinion (as long as they're not autoers...). I just wouldn't make one myself. Like I said on another thread, I don't PK and therefore I might as well put all my experience into one account instead of spreading it out over many. And as Indizle mentioned, there's nothing you HAVE to do on RuneScape, so if you want to make a skill pure or PKer, go right ahead.
