Just pointing out that when doing the runecrafting task for the hard part of the Lumbridge diary, the Explorer ring's bonus does not work.

 

I.e. Crafting the runes, if I'd not had the ring, I'd have made 99. If with the ring's ability to make extra runes I make 103, that would not finish the task.

 

Found that out the hard way when I attempted to use the ring's bonus.

 

Perhaps it would help to mention this so no one attempts that :)
