RS Toolbar -> Java application

Featured Replies

Jagex has made a browser toolbar for RS, available at the downloads section of runescape.com.

Why not make a stand-alone (non-browser) Java application instead of a toolbar that works only on certain browsers?

A Java application would run on any system that can run RS, and you wouldn't even need to have a compatible browser open (good for Jagex launcher users).

correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't two or more java applets open cause instability? or is that just with flash?

I'm not talking about applets, but applications. Applets run in a browser, applications don't.
