so i've alwaysed thought there are little people living inside my tv box

but then earlier today I went to move a tv and realised there are cables goin into the back

now i thought they were tubes for food for the ppl living inside my tv but I see they go into plug ins and stuff????

how do they put a picture through a wire this is confusing
