Macromedia \ animation questions

hey everyone, i was hoping i could get some advice on this. im wanting to make some short comics with macromedia. my problem is i dont know how to add audio, how to get my animation in sync with the audio, and im also having a problem with my animations being a littel jump and not smoothly moving. its more like a flip book that someone isnt flipping fast enough?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

any and all advice\ tips \ help would be greatly apreciated

import a sound into the library. Create new layer. select the layer, press ctrl+l to access library and find your sound clip

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

(also relize the library holds the actual objects and the ones in the movie are whats called instances of that object)

 

 

 

To make it smoother depends on your skill as an animator. Also you can change the fps (frame per second....or frame rate)...At default it is 12

 

 

 

Just use the black arrow selection tool and clcik outside your canvas so nothing is selected and you should see the frame rate in the properties box. Now getting audio in sync depends on what your doing you just gotta play your audio and animate with it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It's really hard using audio and synching it without an awesome program like Adobe Audition. (I mainly use it for my bands recordings...but yeah)

hey thanks , ill do some newbie stickmen type stuff and post what i come up with; oh yea anyone know where theres a free sound clip archive?
