Ok so i don't wanna start on something big... i have a small background in art and drawing.... and i wanted to try some pixeling... i didn't know what my skills were or if i had any... so i decided to just try an avatar or a simple head of a man....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

here is what i came out with any tips on shadeing would be nice...

Here is the final version... added color and edit'd eyes just a tad also edited the ear and the ear ring...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

his eyes seem out of par try making his right eye angle more towards his left (his POV!)

well his head is sopposed to be from and angle... not straight on.... thats why i had one eye a tad bit higher and cut off about halfway through....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

hmm now that you say it the left one is a bit too high though... ill try and either move it or remember on my next try thanks for the c/c

You should make some bigger piece, not too much to see here. Except there's no shading.

well it's ok, but if the head is at an angle why is the beard straight on, i think that may be putting the picture off a little

well wadda ya know.. i never even noticed about the beard... does anyone have any pics from a dude with a beard from the side.. im not really sure how to try and make it look good.. :?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

as for shadeing and sutff its my first time just be patient if i keep at it in time you will start to see shadeing and such... as for bigger... did you even read the top?
