I've been getting conflicting reports on this.

How exactly does it work.

 

So ignoring bonus ores, theres a 1/10 chance of summoning a spirit.

Does the spirit only ferry 1 ore? or does it last for a few ores?

if anybody's curious, they apparently give a 1/10 chance of summoning a spirit.

The spirit lasts for ~ 3-4 seconds

And it banks all ores you mine, and gives you a chance of mining a random ore and banking that ore.

Bonus ores from varrock platebody don't apply.

Don't know if bonus ores from concentrated rocks applies.

 

anyways they bank like half your ores apparently, should help a lot with afk.
