December 20, 201015 yr It's been like this for a month or so and I'm starting to get fed up with it. I've changed every graphic option possible and tried it in different browsers (chrome, safarai, firefox) and nothing at all works. It is either completely black, transparent, or a combination. I'll post a screenie with an example of it. The green is not the real minimap, it's just a green square. Sometimes theres those and purple lines. Also, when I click on the world to view the fullsize map, it is just completely black and I have to close the window and log in again to get out of it. [hide][/hide]
December 20, 201015 yr Assuming you're on a Mac it was a bug that came about with the update to Mac OS 10.6.5. Jagex are aware of it and have been working on a fix, however it is likely you will just have to sit tight until Apple release 10.6.6 (which was released to developers earlier this month I think). Try playing in software mode, that fixed it for me. Hope this helps. "Unfortunately, the real world isn't the same as a fairy tale."

December 20, 201015 yr Author Thanks to both of you for your help! I am on a Mac. I don't venture on to RSOF often, so thanks for sharing that link  Even though, most people say it works in software mode, while mine still doesn't.
December 20, 201015 yr That's strange, mine works on software mode. I don't know what browser you are using, but try firefox.
