Hannibal
ASUSÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâî A8N-E: DUAL DDR, S-ATA, x16 slot, 3 PCI etc Hard Drive SATA 160 GB HARD DISK @ 7200rpm 8mb cache (Special Offer) Second Hard Drive SATA 80 GB HARD DISK @ 7200rpm 8mb cache RAID Sound Card SoundBlaster Audigy SE 7.1 24-bit (Digital & Analogue): ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã16 Modem 56K MODEM Why not just one drive of 250GB? It'll be cheaper, and slightly more than what you have now. Also don't see why you want the soundcard, ASUS boards have 7.1 or so surround sound on board. Might not be the same quality as soundblaster cards, but personally I can't hear the difference. You probably won't hear it anyway with 7 pound speakers... And what's with the modem? Do you actually need that or something? :\
Aldeon
I suggest if possible use serial ATA for the HDD's Also you may need another fan (i didnt check and see if the chasis comes with one) Also depending on the size and everything and if you got lots of money you can get watercooling (much more efficient as Liquid is better conductor than gas)

Remove soundcard, updated cooling and CPU, got rid of the 56k modem (Forgots about that). And yeah with a new PC and all I'm not going to be speanding alot of speakers atm ;). I know the CPU uping won't rly do anything and I've removed the DVD/RW out because frankly I won't need it.
Militaris
Although the ASUS A8N-E is not a bad card, the following in most cases are better value. Epox 9PNA Ultra (All around good card) DFI NF4 Infinity (Good for Overclocking) Chaintech VNF4 (Good card, normally for cheap) Also getting a brand for the PSU would be nice. There are quite a few dodgey power supply brands floating around, although looking at its price it should be decent. A few places where costs savings can be made would be getting a slightly slower CPU, and only 1GB of memory. The preformance decrease would be minimal. The current video card is widley regarded as good value for money, so I would not make any changes there. (Unless you want to gamble and try to unlock the extra pipes on a Connect3D X800GTO, even with locked pipes it is a good card)
