iPod Touch 2G not letting me purchase music

Featured Replies

Hey. I have tried purchasing music directly onto my iPod touch via the itunes store, but it's not letting me purchase music because it says that I must verify before purchases. I already did this on my laptop, so I can purchase music on the laptop. However it's not letting me do it on the iPod, and I've already signed into my itunes account several times on my iPod.

I don't know how to fix this, and I'm not getting any help from Google.

Make sure you're connected to wifi, also try downloading something from the app store and see if you get the same problem. If those don't work try reseting your ipod and see if that works.

Hmmm. Are you trying to buy with a gift card? You can't select no payment option on the iPod itself.

I've had my iTunes account for years and have moved my library to different computers, causing me to have the max 5/5 times that I'm allowed to move the library. I honestly want to reset the iPod as a last resort because I'm afraid I'll lose my music.

@Spork:

Yes, I'm using a gift card.

You can deauthorize all computers from your account, and then just reauthorize the one you are using.
