My final poem for creative writing and the thing that might singlehandedly make me pass the class. I hope you guys enjoy it, I might throw up some other works if you guys would like. :grin:

She sits upon her throne of ice

Gilded by sun’s rising rays

My eyes, if left to their own device,

Would feast upon her beauty for days

 

But oh! - How pangs of unfettered desire

Resonate unto my battered core

I understand now how she could inspire

Such artfully crafted lore

 

Eyes like emeralds glint and gleam

Tell tale opposite her frown

Mind wonders what’s beneath the seam

Of her snowy, silken gown

 

A sound so soft escapes her lips

As wind darts through the trees

Tightly grasped composure slowly slips

Into Lust’s unforgiving seas

 

My momentary weakness is all she needs

To gather a glimpse of what’s inside

She separates me from man’s worthier breeds

And casts me back into the tide

 

Disaster! My heart is ripped asunder

A bloody mess of a wreck

And with an eruption of thunder

I fail to keep my distress in check
