F2P Pure?

Well with the return of the wilderness I want to make a pure to pk with on f2p, but I've never had a pure before and I wouldn't know what stats I should have really :/

 

I want to make a Strength pure, so obviously I need high str, but should I have 1 def, and what should my attack level be, also where are the best places to train?

for just a bit of f2p fun try out a simple account wiith 40 attack 60 strength and 1 def

 

shouldnt really take long to make and you'lll get a nice taste of what f2p pure pking is all about

 

if you like it you'll want to develop a bit more - for example minimum 40 range for green d'hide chaps and vambs, higher range when you want to try out 'range/2h' ko's or for fighting characters with defence

 

magic isnt so important in f2p, but a decent level for teleports and mage def is handy. get 85 for tb when/if you get serious

 

you probably wont stay 40 attack if you choose to continue playing your pure, you can go 45 attack for the gravite 2h weapon or 60 attack for corrupt dragon weapon's - obv 60 attack will give you a higher cb level but it also means you can pk effectively in p2p should you so choose.

 

start training on chickens then move up to cows - bank and sell all the hides to fund your pure

Sorry for double post, but what equipment should I use for when I actually get my levels up.

Iron Body

Iron Legs

Iron Kite?

Rune Scim

Gloves

Leather Boots

Team Cape

Strength Amulet

thats fine for the 40 attack 60 str 1 def character

 

though when you level a bit more and get range and pray you'll want to use green chaps and vamps, and monks robe top as the prayer bonus will pretty much outweigh any awful +1 def or w/e iron body gives - its also lighter for when you're running all round the wilderness

 

helm you can use w/e you like really as it doesnt rly matter - f2p pure pking isn't really about gear so much as fast r2h switches and lucky chain hits [gravite 2h and corrupt weapons not withstanding]
