February 13, 201115 yr For soloing Bandos, which would be better to use, Dragon defender or Obsidian shield? I'm max melee, I have overloads, turmoil, and yak. This is my gear: v helm ardy cape 3 fury k top tassets d boots zerker barrows gloves rapier *obby shield or dragon def* I want to know whether Obby shield or Dragon defender would be better. I'm using dragon claws for the spec, so i'll be getting about one spec per kill (no spec restores) Please don't suggest dfs, d sq, or any spirit shield, I don't want to risk rapier (already using protect item) Max Melee 137 CBUntrimmed HP cape at 132 combat
February 13, 201115 yr Personally I prefer defender, especially if you can flash soul split. It WILL give you a shorter trip than obby, generally speaking, but you also get more kills/hour. Considering the fact that it only takes like 7 minutes to fully regear and get back in with killcount, more kills/hour vs kills/trip is better at Bandos than, say, Arma. If you do end up with a tank shield, be sure to bring a defender on you anyway in case of crashers. February 13, 201115 yr If you aren't concerned with trip length, there can be no argument. Dragon defender is better. Join "DG Sweepers" Clan Chat for Dungeoneering Floors | Accepting all tipiters who are Willing to Learn |
