A plea from an Apple Mac user :)

 

Now we have all heard of Mousekeys and that it can be used to help with certain actions within RS.

 

The Mac has its own version of this program but it cannot be used for tasks within RS as it works in

different way.

 

Now there is a third party program for the Mac called Keyboard Maestro which can be set up to do

tasks within RS. I assume it is OK to use as you can set it up to do : One key - One Click operations.

 

There is a useless vid on Youtube showing how to use this, but as I say it is really useless.

 

So if anybody out there is a Mac user and is using this program could they put some asstistance

my way please :)

Thanks for the reply, what I would like is guide on how to set it up for dropping invents of fish etc ?

Your first key needs to be set up to act as control + left click (this make a right click). Then have the second key move down to the drop option (I believe it's 38 spaces down, relative to the current mouse position - could be wrong, just play with it). Then the third key left clicks.

 

Could be wrong since I never set up a drop function, but this is how I would start.

Thanks for the starter I will give it go :)

 

I cannot even get this thing to let me even perform a simple mouse click when pressing the number pad 7 key..

 

I fail at this :(
