Please put in a note, that if your cat has already captured 100 rats, you can get another medal by dropping the one you have, and talking to Gertrude with the cat in your inventory.

 

I just finished catching 100 rats with a kitten... when my overgrown hellcat already had 100 kills. (wasted alot of time)
