I did the Witch's house quest today, and this line in the guide confused me for a minute:

 

A mouse!

 

3. Go back downstairs and then into the basement.

 

The reason it was confusing is because there was never any need to go upstairs, so when reading that line a player would already be on the ground floor (hence no need to go back downstairs).

 

It should instead read something like 'After reading the diary, go down into the basement', removing any mention of 'go back downstairs'.

 

Just a small thing, but nonetheless worth mentioning in my opinion.

I just read the guide and that is a little confusing indeed.

 

Best I can think is maybe they were originally thinking. "Go downstairs into the basement".
