after reading the quest guide and doing it on a few of my accts i realized there was a step missing in your guide

 

between step 10 and 11 of your guide after filling the canopic jar at the pharaoh mummy you are supposed to return to base underneath the chaos temple in the wilderness but if you go there alone when you try to go down the trapdoor you receive a message 'it is too dangerous to go down there alone'

 

the step missing is before going to the wilderness return to the varrock castle and talk to Hartwin who is in the northwest tower. Ask him to take you to the underground base and boom your in =D

 

that is all that is missing from the otherwise great guide thanks

Its not so much a missing step as since free trade return and alterations to how Zemergouls base works step 11 needs to change from:

 

11. Go to the base, located under the Chaos Temple in the southern Wilderness (north of Varrock).

 

into:

 

11. Go to the guards quarters (in the north west tower of Varrock Palace) and speak to Hartwin to return to the base located under the chaos temple.

 

Still good that its been spotted.
